Generate ebooks and audiobooks on any topic with AI

Hey guys,

I've been building https://ebookerai.com and I put it online yesterday, would really appreciate any feedback.

Basically - generate ebooks and audiobooks using AI, on any topic you want.

Once the book is generated you can refine/edit/add images etc in the WYSIWYG editor.

The book can then be exported, it supports PDF, EPUB and MP3 (for audiobooks). There are a bunch of examples of generated books on the landing page.

For now it supports generating books in 6 languages but I plan to add more later.

Would love to hear your feedback - and happy to answer any question about the product/building the product (i'm a dev)

    Cool product and I personally believe it has a future. I think though you may want to take a look at your pricing tiers as the value for the cost is what made me a bit nervous.

    Totally love the positioning and the exported content looks to be structured well but as I see examples I start to question if ebooks generated can help grow leads.

    I think things that would help the landing page would be:

    • Use case descriptions
    • Outcomes examples
    • Testimonials

    I think things that would help the app would be:

    • Refined value descriptions for the pricing tiers
    • A feature for eBook cover generation (on the examples the covers and lack of images made me hesitate as a buyer)

    As a whole I really like the value prop and positioning.

      Thanks for taking the time to review it and write this out - this is really helpful!

      I agree about the price, this is something I'll change - also thinking about offering a free trial.

      All your other points are very helpful too, I'm going to work on these.

      The eBook cover generation is a really good point, I'm still trying to figure out the best way to offer this. I've experimented with it but not got great results yet, today's AI image generators aren't nearly as good as something like GPT at interpreting prompts so I haven't been able to generate great covers from the book description (+ they can't really do text). Perhaps I need to do something simpler like hook it up to a free library of images + add a way to add text. I'll think about it :)

    What language model are you using? Generating chapters seems like a lot of tokens.

      Yep it is a lot of tokens, hence the product is a bit more expensive than I'd like it to be currently.

      GPT4 currently but I'm hoping to get access to Anthropic Claude soon so will experiment when I do.

      Hey! How do you mean automatically?

      The process is like this:

      1. Create book, add basic details like book title, description, book cover. Once created the chapters content starts generating automatically

      2. Once the content is generated you can review it and make changes to it in the editor (this step is optional, you don’t need to edit anything if you don’t want/need to)

      3. Export to your chosen file type
