Completely agree, and it lines up with our numbers too. We post once a day and spend the rest of the effort replying inside other people's threads. The replies are what generate the real conversations — people have asked "what are you building?" without us ever pitching. A standalone post from a small account just vanishes; a good reply rides the thread's existing distribution instead of fighting for its own.
Optimizing for conversations over impressions feels slower, but it's the only thing that's actually compounded for us so far.
