Get 3 startup ideas with pre-built landing pages every month

Super cool idea! As a small UX thing, I didn't realize the page was scrollable until I clicked subscribe on the top right. Maybe having a slight gradient or text at the bottom would allude to scrolling?

Also, curious what sort of validation this problem has seen so far? I think this idea is awesome as a vitamin but am struggling to see it as a painkiller. PMF seems tough to obtain here. I'm fighting the same issue with my own startup, so genuinely curious what your approach for market validation is right now!

I like the idea. It's unique. But it is not very clear on what I will be receiving after subscription. May be it's just me. May be adding any of your most selling 3 ideas links or screenshots will help to understand how the content is going to look like?
Also I think images in the LP can be replaced with something relevant.

First of all, kudos on the concept. It's very interesting!

Here's my feedback on the design:

It looks clean and straightforward. I personally enjoy that element, but it makes it plain for some users. You can aim to be minimal with the design but right now it is a little basic. Such designs make it harder to trust the service because of how new and basic they look. You can try making the content more crisp and the images could also be infographics, instead of using direct stock images.

A little more colour on the website might also help you make the website more impactful.

The template you chose is simple but straight to the point.
There is a good distinction between elements and text.
It works even on smaller screens.

Since you have covered well all the basics, I think you can work more on intermediate components.

What you can improve are imagery and personality.

Everyone looking at your landing page can instantly recognize the pictures you chose as stock images.
They are really common and don’t add value to your project.

I suggest you spend more time searching for better and less used images.

Regarding the second point, while you have a good template and simple structure, it can also come across as a bit boring.

It’s the same as thousands of other small business websites.
You need to add something distinctive, to stand out and make people remember you.

This can be done in a lot of ways: images, colors, and patterns.

The first screen is just black text on a white background, I think you can add a distinctive image that can spice it up a bit.

I understand those are more intermediate/advanced points to work on, but I’m sure it will help you convert more and make more money ;)

The last thing is an easy fix for you: when you hover the mouse on the main black button, the text disappears.

Interesting concept, nice looking page. Would also say that there should be some kind of preview/sample of your template pages.

Not sure if I understand correctly, but are you sending out the same 3 templates to each subscriber, or you planning on churning out different templates for each of your subscribers?

I like the concept and I could definitely see some value in it.

Here are 3 initial thoughts I had after looking at your site:

1. Show, don't tell. I want to see an example of a landing page, and to see what the $15 is going to get me. I want to know that it will a) look good, b) have all of the content written for me (and written well) and c) be fast.
2. I don't know who Julian Shapiro is, or what his criteria for idea validation is. So for me this isn't a feature/benefit. And I didn't really want to go on to his site to try and find this information. Perhaps you could summarise the criteria, and what makes it reliable, on your own site?
3. I felt like $15 is too cheap for what you're offering. It makes me question the quality of the product. You're selling ideas that could see a big ROI for the user. That commands a higher price tag!

The site looks good though. It's clean, easy to scan and I got the concept quickly!

It's an interesting idea, and FAQ was definitely helpful to understand what it's all about. What I'd suggest:

1. Changing the button text. It says $15 Subscribe, to me it feels like it's pushing me to a paid subscription before i realized whether it's worth my time or not. Maybe it should be inviting people to learn more, to see examples of what you'll get?

2. I feel like I don't have enough information about what I'll get. What kind of startup ideas will it be? is it possible to choose certain industries, for example? And I'd really like to see some examples to feel confident it's worth it.

Heya! I totally get your concern. We are in the verge of revamping our website, Instant Logo Design as well.

But here are few things I noticed about your site that I personally think needed fixing:

• Did you aim for a minimalistic look, thus having a landing page that looks white or plain rather? If you did, I think it just sets off the value of your services in creating a landing page for prospects.

• The font style and size are a bit off. It's too big, and doesn't show a cohesive look throughout the page.

• Copywriting is a bit boring as well. It's not helpful at all.

• There are not menu bar or footer, which can be very helpful for the visitors.

• The page is a bit short. For SEO purposes, you might want to add more. Probably, a testimony part?

Interesting concept and site looks great! I'd make it clear if you're sending the same ideas/ landing pages to all subscribers or if each subscriber get their own unique set. You could also focus more on the benefits vs doing it yourself. Eg: no more coming up with ideas, creating landing pages etc.
