I'm Kirill. I follow indiehackers movement and build my new micro SaaS in public. It can be a part of my other product or stay independent.
Wally is the next product I'm currently working on. It helps you automate collecting reviews from trusted review platforms and deliver them to your website as the wall of love.
Founders could find it useful to aggregate reviews from ProductHunt, G2, AppSumo, Capterra, Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn in one place - on their site.
I'm curious about what I should build first so I ran a quick survey!

How long ago did you launch on AS? How it's going?
My currently product is on AS too right now. We ask for a review after we help customer, when he feels satisfied. This usually happens in app chat.
The listing just launched like 20 hours ago.
So this will take a while.
But the hack is awesome. Will keep this well in mind

Seems pretty neat and simple. But there are several competitors in the field of collecting and presentation of social proof. How do you want to stand out?

Most of them import reviews manually and don't support many of review platforms. Do you already use any of these tools?
Tried shoutout.so but it is quite expensive considering the features it provides.

I'm curious about how you are going to achieve that.
It looks like many of those services don't offer an API.
Would definitely be curious to see what you are going to build, might be interesting for Edusign. We are trying to push users to act on reviews... but it's hard to do it on multiple platforms :)
You can probably scrape, but holy cow it takes some work to maintain it.
If i can't negotiate it with the platforms directly this might be the only solution 🧐
Yep, its ok - Plaid built a billion dollar business on it :) Just that things will break and again that's ok.

It would be a challenge for me, but I have a solution :)
In my current product I ask for review on all platforms (I use G2, AppSumo, Facebook), but spotlight the most preferred one.
What platforms do you already use?

Are you already getting reviews somewhere?
I haven't started getting any reviews yet. But based on my SaaS, platforms like Capterra, Getapp, G2, and Softwareadvice are the most essential. Your product looks cool.

Just joined the waitlist. Seems like an idea that will definitely be useful to us as we build our site if it is easy enough to use. Just out of curiosity, how have you gone about getting survey responses? Friend/family/indie hackers?

I'll keep it simple. I also don't like complicated tools.
I've already collect 10 responses and 2 comments for my survey. It's really valuable! There were from my existing customers and other indiehackers.
