Hey hackers, just wondering if nowadays the plan "I will have many users and will earn from ads" is still valid?

Let's say you have the website with nice traffic (let's say 10k unique organic users, gaming industry, visitors mostly from USA and your bounce rate is 60%) what could be estimated earnings from the ads?

What could be the better options for monetizing with such metrics?
