Get your project listed - and optionally some test users

I've seen projects like betalist and betapage and it seems very hard or expensive to get listed there. On "Rent a Hive" you can get listed for $2 and if you like you can get some test users for your site.
So if you need another place to show the world what you've built you are very welcome on:
Okay, so obviously this is just one person's opinion.. but I went to sign up, picked the 25$ tier because why the heck not, it's supporting an IHer, and then ended up bailing about half way through the sign up form.
Why? I thought I understood what the service offered, but I felt like the signup was a bit daunting. I had to think about a bunch of stuff, and ultimately closed the tab, possibly to return another day when I have more time to dedicate to the sign up process.
That's not to say there's anything wrong with the sign up, in fact, I think it's nice that you suggested some answers to some of the tougher questions. That said, you didn't do much to make it frictionless for me to become a customer.
A bit about me... I'm an engineer like yourself and I run a DaaS platform, recently launched a new home page, and actually felt like 25$ to get a small bit of feedback was a pretty solid deal.
To get up and running, I needed to tell you about my ideal tester, and then some stuff like "specific requests and test requirements"... I mean... I could have gotten crazy and said that somebody needed to spin around in their chair for 30 seconds and then try to sign up for my service and give feedback, right? A pick list for those would be been nice.
I understand those questions were optional, but since they were presented immediately, I felt like I'd possibly be missing out on some value (FOMO) if I omitted them. Because I wasn't entirely sure what to answer there, it led me my bailing entirely.
Also, needing to submit a high quality image... there's services that could automate this, so while an easy thing for me to do (I actually had my image ready), it could very well be omitted entirely. If you don't want to pay for a service / roll your own, I'd just Wizard of Oz that shit and grab a screen cap for the site myself
Anyway, can't wait until I have a bit more time to dedicate to the sign up (and yes, I know my response here probably took longer than your sign up, don't just me ;)

thanks for your insight, I've just changed the form to 3 input fields and an optional text area, it looks much cleaner now. I'm also moving away from the "target audience definition" because if someone defines a very rare audience it will be hard to deliver.
The core functionality is to give feedback, however I've tried to keep the hive-actions a bit open and abstract to see what hive-actions users would come up with.
