Getting 1000+ fake/bot Instagram followers per day. [HELP]
Hey people,
For last month, I got more than 30k fake bot followers on my Instagram account which have now over 500k followers.
All look same, have one or few posts added recently, little followers, lot of following. They are sending me messages, responding to my stories, etc.
I think their job is to kill my engagement, cause I do not respond to messages anymore, cause its pain in the ass.
Does anyone have a suggestion on how to get rid? Of course, i forgot to mention, I reported probably 100-200 accounts, but i got tired doing it.
One more thing. I remember there was a message from a guy offering followers and likes, so my posts can show up in popular tags. I responded that I don't need it, cause i already show in popular tags. And then after a few days, i started getting it.
I can't find that account anymore, cause I am getting tons of messages daily.
Any help is welcome.
I think as a first step here, you could take your account private for a few days and manually approve new real followers and decline fakes. This would be painstaking, but its possible that after some time the person attacking your account realizes they're being ineffective and stops the attack. Then you could try going public again. Just a low-fi move I might try as a first step.
YEah, someone suggested same on reddit. Maybe i try it on. I was thinking to somehow get the list of latest followers, and then go through them and filter out the one which looks fake. After that, should go and block them via some automation.
