Hey buddies, Not to make a viral.. but its happening with me for the last couple of months like each and everyday during the work or after that I was struck by a idea and started thinking through and finding out whether does anyone already working on the same idea or not and adding it to my trello as a to-do item. Though i am still not successful with one I couldn't control getting this idea and going in iteration mode. Just curious does others face this kind a problem.
It is because of the fact that good ideas are a dime a dozen. Plenty of people have million-dollar ideas all the time, but they either never act on them, they execute them poorly, or they are just plain unlucky. I have had this problem too and it has greatly hurt me in the past; this is actually a very common problem with junior developers because there are so many possibilities with a functionally limitless amount of new technologies being released at an unrelenting pace; it is easy to see why this is such a ubiquitous problem.
This is can actually cause some unfortunate problems if left unchecked; the most impactful being what can amount to career stagnation or even worse "failure to launch" syndrome. This can happen because despite the many hours of hard work and dedication regularly to learn and improve themselves the developer ends up not making enough progress in any one area to increase their ability enough.
Your absolutely right man.. Hope things will be better in the coming days
Being aware of an issue is the first step in fixing it! The reason I took the time to write the post is because I was happy to see you were becoming aware of it.
Keep up the consistant work on one, just one, of those good ideas to action!
Ttyl, I need to get back to my many good ideas; haha, do as I say not as I do!
