We had been helping students find the Master's program and had been debating with the idea if we should charge the students. Last month we decide to add a paid option and charge students $25 for a paid report. They can see the list of colleges and admission requirements for free but if they want to see the list of all the possible colleges and possible source of financial aid, we offer a paid report for $25. This is not autogenerated but curated by our team.
First 2 weeks. None of the students paid.
Week 3 . 1st paid students
This month we had total 10 students who paid for the report.
Revenue $250. Not great but at least we know that students will be willing to pay for the information.
We are going to change the layout of the report and experiment with a different format and see how it goes
Wow! It is not that easy to find the Master's program that will perfectly suit to the student's knowledge. I have faced these troubles some time ago, and chosen wrong specialization. My teacher told to look here
and try taking assistance from the professional experts. Now, I am trying to help every student, and it was really cool to find out how you have monetized your project.
I will be sharing the mistakes we did and how others can avoid it. I think the biggest learning is, try to get revenue within 6 months else it is not worth it.
