One advantage to the accelerator/vc route seems to be a plethora of credits available to startups going that route. VCs and accelerators often have deals with AWS, and other cloud providers that give lots of free credits to startups for experimenting. Are there any similar credits available to bootstrappers?
Can't say about AWS but I have received $20,000 of credit from GCP and $3,000 from MongoDB Atlas.
GCP for Startups says in most places that you have to go through a VC. But I was able to find a link on their page directly to the sign-up page. They gave me $3K for the first year and then another $17K this year.
