I just went live with https://www.savemeaseat.io
I did an experiment at my site in January (before corona) with a spreadsheet version of this at my work site - I said hey sign up here if you want to be grouped with 3 other colleagues and be given a lunch date once a month so we can network with each other. I had 180 sign ups at a site of 300 or so. We did it for two months. Then Coronavirus.
So, I'm going to turn around and pitch this to them now. I feel crazy. Am I crazy? Anyone have any tips? I know nothing about B2B SaaS sales, really - just stuff I've picked up when trying to be sold. Interested in your input.
Here's the deck I plan to send...

I think this is a really great idea. So great that you're not the first person to think of it 😆 We used to use Donut which is a Slack app that pairs you up with someone weekly to go on a "coffee date". It's a really great way to meet people when you first join a company, and if you're in management, it's a great way to continually keep in touch with company mood.
I assume by "pitching" to your company, you mean you want them to be a customer for this product. If that's the case, absolutely nothing to be afraid of there. If you think it provides value (and based on your experiment it seems like it does) then I think it's a great way to get a good case study and some early users.
On another note, you should confirm that your employment contract doesn't give your employer rights to all IP you create while employed by them.
Oh nice! I like this part about continually keeping in touch with company mood! A selling point ;-)
Thanks for the reassurance. I looked in to the IP thing a while back - all clear there.
