Getting your newsletter in front of an audience

Growing your newsletter can be quite a difficult feat, and it takes a lot of patience and consistency to reach that first 1000 subscribers mark, but it's definitely not impossible.

Here's a post by @TheWonderingZall on getting your newsletter in front of an audience.

Thank you, this was really helpful. I just published the first issue of my newsletter to my three subscribers[0], and this gave me great next steps. I discovered that I could get my first subscribers by asking for help. I legitimately needed (and still need) help with my landing page, and I was surprised to discover that people subscribed just from the help request. Obviously it's not sustainable, but going from zero to three was a big confidence boost.

[0] Technically 5, but my girlfriend and I don't count

      Your girlfriend definitely counts!
Her subscribing is signal, not noise.

When I started my newsletter 3 years ago my best friend was the first one to sign up. He did so within 30 minutes. I still remember that.
