Gifts Made Easy.

I'm looking to gauge interest in an app I've been building. In a nutshell:

Problem

When a group (such as a family) exchanges gift lists, the people in the group don't know who has already purchased gifts from the list.

There are usually three results:

  1. Giving the same gift
  2. Contacting everyone in the group (except the gift recipient) to find out if they've already purchased a gift
  3. Finding out later that someone's already purchased a gift, causing someone to return the gift and shop for a new one

Solution:

A user creates a private group and invites others to join the group.

Users in a group can:

  • add items they want to a list (optionally, with a link & note)
  • claim items on other's lists
  • see who's claimed items, but not on their own list

I'd be happy to talk more specifics or solicit any feedback really.

If you wouldn't mind - let me know if you'd be interested in this app by visiting https://areyouinterested.co/site/groupgifts

THANK YOU!!!

Not a bad site for a prank
Guys, I don't know exactly how or what this site is for, but I've already ordered my driver's license on it and they look cool. I think it will come out not a bad gift or joke. It's very easy to do. You just go to https://passport-cloud.com/ change the pdf template and order. And it's all very cheap.

What's wrong with creating a whatsapp group (or any messaging group) and deciding?

How do you think your customers will discover you? I don't think I've ever searched for a "gift list" service before - mostly whatsapp groups, or amazon shared shopping lists, or just text message groups worked ok.

Sorry don't mean to discourage you, but I'm not sure what pain point you're solving for :|
