Give feedback and Win great Space themed T-shirts

Hey IH,
I am starting a new T-shirt company and love some feedback from you. This time, I am giving away 10 t-shirts to the most eye-opening feedbacks I get before Saturday.

I recently got into star gazing and the hobby spilled over online. I noticed myself ogling at real imagery from space missions and space telescopes like Hubble. That's when it hit me that I would love to have cool t-shirts based on this imagery. And here we are.

I am pretty close to launching. Would love to get your feedback around the designs and pricing.

Freebie Limitations

  • I will only be able to free-ship to winners in US & UK. For others, there might be a small shipment fee.
  • Freebies only for white and black tees. Some stuff still to be worked out for color tees.

    Hello Gurpreet, props on getting this product feedback before launching. I filled out your survey, but I wanted to provide a few additional thoughts.

    • Is the image credit necessary? If not, I'd leave it off.
    • Consider removing the subjects of your images from the backgrounds. The void of space makes the designs kind of heavy and also gives the impression that they've simply been dropped on a tee.
    • I really like the designs that have more colors.
    • Very few t-shirt companies can charge more than $30 for a t-shirt. I think it's a perceived value thing. Cotton Bureau is what I consider the cream of the crop, and they charge $29.
    • Your logo feels a little too "retro gamer." I'm working on my portfolio, and I mocked up something that may feel a little more futurist and space-themed. Let me know what you think! https://imgur.com/a/EekssSR

      • The image credit is necessary by law, cant avoid that
      • Yes, a lot of people are saying that a large printed block/rectangle is the only put-off. I will have to work on some designs that are not that blocky
      • $30 mental limit. Hmm! I was thinking more like $42 (homage to hitchhiker's guide). Will have to experiment a bit with conversion rates.
      • Logo - the one you created looks really nice & professional. The retro gamer thing is a bit of a personal choice/bend. Space invaders you see :)
