Give your brain a 5 minute break

Hey,

So, I just launched this App : https://www.indiehackers.com/product/justmandala

To be honest, I forgot to share the idea for validation. But it's never too late!

Here is the idea :
We all spend way too much time working, thinking, trying to resolve problems. We need to chill out our brains! JustMandala is here to give you 5 minutes breaks for your brain.

Studies show that "Creative activities can relieve stress, aid communication, and help arrest cognitive decline." (Source: Harvard Health Publishing)

It's not a web app powered by AI with tons of features, it's just ... Mandala!

    Very satisfying, nice work!

This is so oddly satisfying... I love it! Shared it in our office group chat, I think some people are going to have a few fun minutes.

Maybe you should figure something out to make users come back? It's fun for once, but not something I'd personally bookmark. But maybe if you could turn it into a game where, for example, I can draw 1 second, and then my colleague and so on. We would create a piece of art together. This could also be a fun mobile app among friends. But just an idea.

    Fun product, good luck!

Would mean a lot if you could also give some feedback on my post, thanks a lot! https://www.indiehackers.com/post/validation-a-wireless-time-machine-backup-saas-3e3555e130

What a great idea @IndependenceDev. I loved trying this out. Keep up the great work !

This is pretty neat. Also not sure how often I'd use it, but it's a nice idea. I keep getting the urge to colour it in, for some reason, though! Might be all those Mandala-type colouring books irl

I think it's probably why people like this App, it's "instant fun"

  8. 2

Great concept and it's so simple to use. I like how minimal you have kept it.

You know what they say.. "Less is more"!

Neat idea. I didn't really understand what it was based on the landing page, however, once I clicked through I liked it!

I'm really glad you liked it, Smithgeek! Cheers

Gonna share that with my wife, she'd love it.

Oh, I like it! A neat little idea. I am not sure how often I would use it, though. Let's see :) Best of luck!

That's really cool, nkce work. It is actually relaxing. It would be nice if it could send notifications to remind me to draw some mandalas, so that I don't get carried away.

Some feedback: on mobile (android & chrome) when i start scrolling up (moving finger from top to bottom) the refresh thing appears and when I release mg finger the page refreshes, so it would be nice to be able to draw in any direction without refreshing the page.

Thank you, Dimitar! You are definitely right, the Mobile version is far from perfect. I'll probably create a native mobile app (for Android at least).

      Cheers!

Nice :-) I could not paint single dots, that would be cool. I had to click and always move the mouse, otherwise, it won't draw.

And second, if you ever want to sell it, ping me :-)
