Yup! Made this mistake with my first startup. Built a product I didn't like because I thought it was what everyone wanted. Unsurprisingly, it failed. Second attempt. Built a product I loved which there was a niche audience for. 3 years in and still going strong.
Do something you love and the money follows. If you chase the money it will always elude you.
