Giving back to the community (round 2) - Book me for a free 45mins UX design feedback and advice session for your project.

At the end of this week, I will have completed 23 design session with fellow indiehackers that applied for the 1st round! So far it has been a great success, that's why I decided to do another round and open 12 more spots for the next 2 weeks :-)

You can book your session here: https://calendly.com/jimzarkadas/design-feedback

What I provide

  • 45mins video call where I present you my feedback as a user and suggest you potential solutions as a product designer.
  • Once we are done with the call I'll send you all of my notes written by email so that you can take another look and ask me any additional questions if needed.

What I ask back

Nothing specific. Sometimes I may ask some questions about how you design your product just to understand more about your development process. Other than that I don't ask anything else. One thing to mention is that I don't have any shady sales goals behind this. Below I describe clearly why I started this initiative.

Why I am doing this

  • One of my goals for the next 12 months is to contribute actively to the indie-hacking community and teach myself more the value of giving back to the community I belong to.
  • I want to expand my social circle and meet other indiehackers. IndieHackers.com isn't just a business community. We are like a tribe with solid values and I want to make more connections with people that have a similar mindset.
  • By completing the 1st round of session I realized I like the process of education. By doing these sessions I can observe and see what other indiehackers struggle with and create educational content for the community, such as e-books, articles etc.

About me

I am an 7+ years experienced product designer with an engineering background. I built my own boutique design studio https://www.befoolish.co where I reached 120k annual revenue, I worked as the design lead for https://www.ticketswap.com a marketplace with more than 5 million users and I am now building my own products as IndieHacker. I also document and share my journey to indie-hacking on a weekly basis on my journal called "12 months to IndieHacking"

Cool that you are giving back to the community by providing feedback and not doubling bitcoins :-D
