Glassdoor 2.0
Hi everyone,
I'm working on a project that is simple words - evolution of Glassdoor! It goes beyond the anonymous reviews and job posts from a content and value prop perspective.
As I'm doing the ground research, are there other platforms you've heard of or know of, who are disrupting how candidates learn about companies and opportunities to work there?

What shortcomings did you find in Glassdoor? For me personally is having to post a review to be able to view more salaries, reviews etc. I understand they did it to keep the reviews coming in but it's really annoying when you're a college graduate looking for your first job
The limitation on the number of salaries you can view on glassdoor before asking you to login or post reviews is a huge deterrent for me - I can confirm it doesn't get less annoying the longer you work, either.
Interesting, would this be less annoying if you could post your guess marked with low confidence? It's a feature we've been thinking if adding to https://guessmypay.com
I understand where you are coming from in terms of the concept. Would love to have a discussion. There have been attempts on making that Glassdoor version 2 by companies like 'hush' and 'paysa' etc but portrayal of ingrained value and what literally employees think doesn't still come out. Maybe you can check https://www.keyvalues.com/. They show what values do engineering teams have, so you can choose if the company fits you.
I hate glassdoor's regional approach. Every time I'm trying to find those 38 reviews, and I need to cycle through the different languages. I also don't want to use the website in Dutch. Give me an international one please...
My focus is how to build a much more qualitative, culture focused version of Glassdoor instead of the salary + reviews aspect.
Could you please give some more context to your idea? Like Syed said, I don't think Glassdoor has any major drawbacks.
