Gmail issues may have unsubscribed your subscribers
Hi, I saw this post on HN about Gmail having global issues.
I just sent an email campaign yesterday and because of those issue, 89 Gmail users bounced hard - when this happens, newsletter providers often unsubscribe them automatically (happened to me with EmailOctopus).
If you were sending an email campaign in the last 24 hours, look into it, you might have been affected.
Thanks for posting this. As you mentioned the issues are global so will have affected everyone, irrespective of provider. So those with newsletters it's well worth checking in with your own provider to see what they're doing.
At EmailOctopus we will be re-subscribing any users who were impacted by this, but may take a few days to do so.

Yep, this is a serious problem and like any problem there could be need gap for a service which can check email service status before sending emails?
Update: And there's already a solution built for that!
