GMB API HELP! Has anyone integrated the reply to reviews functionality? šš

Just a quick as per the title.
I'm specifically wanting to know how long it took, dev hours involved, to roll it out so I can get a projected cost from my dev consults.
It seems to have some sort of out-of-the-box functionality built-in?
Would be much appreciated š
