Goal: get first paying customer (day 3)

Yesterday:

  • I spent most of my day solving an encryption error.
  • Made 3 user personas that really helped me shape who my user could be. Made some changes to the landing page based on that: https://www.palabra.io/?ref=indie
  • Got 2 new organic signups after that 🎉

Today:

  • Will finish more dev tasks. Hopefully will start working on some of the more core features.

Just checked out the tool. That's a very interesting concept. I'm curious what your customer personas look like? For me personally I love the whole email automation tools, but I can see how some might find that process overwhelming.

Also this time of year is pretty bad for B2B sales with all the holidays and time off work. Don't beat yourself up if you don't get any, it could just be a lot of people simply aren't in the office and making buying decisions at the moment.

Hey Shane, thanks for your feedback :) I think the customer could be a person who uses Hubspot/Salesforce/Mailchimp but also needs to send 1-1 emails. Tools like YAMM are good but don't let you keep a single list of all your contacts and don't syncronize back with your CRM to help you keep track of the emails you sent. So we are talking about a salesperson or an entrepreneur trying to get to product-market fit who needs to valid her idea with customers directly.
What were your initial thoughts? Did you imagine this same use-case or some other?
