GoHosted is a lightweight document hosting service that makes PDFs, Excel, Word docs, HTML pages and images instantly viewable and embeddable. Short links, embeddable viewers, CDN delivery and a simple REST API — launched and ready at https://gohosted.app/.

The problem

Sharing documents and media still feels clunky: recipients download attachments, embedding viewers is inconsistent across platforms, and the developer experience for programmatic hosting is fragmented. Many teams end up emailing huge files, uploading to general-purpose storage, or pasting links that force downloads.
