Going live soon - how would you "Indie hack" my website?

http://www.styrid.is/ is going live in the next two weeks to try and get the first random/real users.

Been working on it for 6 weeks now and had feedback and user testing from around 10 fishermen. New design and UX/UI changes implemented this week but I'm interested to hear:

  • when would you catch email to try and turn a visitor into a customer?
  • should you be allowed a few clicks before pushing paywall (similar to bloomberg/Guardian).

About:
the website is made primarily for fishermen which want to backtrack and analyse other ships at sea to understand where they have been and what they are fishing. The data is from AIS receivers onshore and satellite data but only in one market for now.
