I posted AI-generated TikToks for my app. Thousands of views later… almost zero downloads.
That’s when I realized: attention doesn’t equal action.
We’ve all seen it, AI content can be fast, polished, eye-catching… but it rarely makes people care about your product. Views feel good but downloads don’t follow.
So I’m switching tactics. I’m starting a 21-day content sprint on TikTok for my app and here’s what I’m testing:
Raw, step-by-step guides and “mistakes to avoid”
Multiple content styles to see what actually drives engagement and downloads
The goal: figure out what actually converts attention into action not just vanity metrics.
To make it more interesting, I’m opening this sprint to a few serious founders who are willing to post consistently for 21 days. It’s free and the idea is to experiment together, share insights and see what works in real-time.
Lesson learned so far: consistency + experimentation beats polished AI content every time. I’m hoping this sprint will turn those lessons into something repeatable and maybe help other founders avoid wasting time chasing views instead of downloads.
If you’re interested in joining or have advice before I start, I’d love to hear from you.
