Good build in public accounts to follow

5 accounts that you should follow for build in public inspiration!

  1. @dr

Dan shares his progress towards $10k MRR by the end of 2021, working on a number of SaaS projects, including @iloAnalytics

Provides an honest account of some of the challenges of building side projects, such as dealing with churn

  1. @Benbarbersmith

Provides a regular overview of what he is working on, plus important life events. It is nice to see an honest account of a bootstrapper juggling with competing life priorities.

Looking forward to hearing more about growing his B2B SaaS product, Observant

  1. @Leo_M

Leo has made transparency and build in public front and centre of what he is doing at Supersonic.

Love how you can easily access these documents through his website, including the Change Log that shows the latest updates and progress.

  1. @weekendceo

Milly regularly Tweets in the #buildinpublic space, and has started a number of good discussions about the motivations for building in public.

A great profile to follow to learn and increase your understanding of the subject!

  1. Carl Poppa

Carl hit a 553 streak on MakerLog and demonstrates real consistency and progress towards his goals.

It is great to see how he has been using 'to-do' lists to drive accountability and grow his network with other Indie Hackers.

Who else would you add to this list?

There's also a build in public group here:

    And an income reports group:

Join both of those and you'll see some more stats in the IH automated newsletter.

What if you want Build in Public while staying Private?

    @Addanus

You could definitely get into the habit of writing progress posts, but obviously if you kept this private you wouldn't benefit from accountability or gaining feedback from prospective users, which are some of the key benefits of sharing your work more widely
