Good examples of a B2B Saas About page?

Hey IH! This month my co-founder and I are focusing on being more in front of our users and visitors for our Saas.

We’ve recently integrated Calendly to allow users/visitors to schedule a consultation with us, and we’ve added Intercom to allow them to chat with us on the fly.

As a bootstrapped team of 2, I would love to add an About page and briefly share our vision, values, and story. I have a few ideas on how to proceed, but some inspiration + examples of good B2B Saas pages would go a long way!

Thanks in advance 😀

Our go to resource for SaaS pages inspiration is https://saaslandingpage.com/

It's a curated and frequently updated showcase of great SaaS websites, and it's organized by page type (home, pricing, about us, etc).

We are bootstrapped and a team of 3 completely remote. Here is our about page:

Keep it simple but add a couple of nice and personal touches to it with images of the team.

I would personally add a call to action there as well, but worded differently than on the other pages, something along the lines of “say hi”, “let’s chat” and it opens up the chat.

Story is so very important, try and support it with historic snapshots if you can? To show progress in a more visual way.

    Good luck!

This is amazing and very actionable feedback, Leo! Thanks so much for writing all of this out and sharing Plutio’s about page 🙏 It (and the overall product) looks great!

I particularly like the bits about including a more friendly CTA and visualizing progress through snapshots. I also like how you give your visitors a chance to read more about your story in a separate, detailed blog post.

Hi @asitwala ! I've curated 35 great SaaS about pages on SaaSFrame 👉 https://www.saasframe.io/categories/about-page (+ some best practices)
I'm also working on a About page Copywriting Template right now, I'll send it to you when it's ready :)

Very cool, Antoine — thanks for sharing! I also saw someone mention SaaSFrame on Twitter earlier week 😀 Looks like a great resource in general.

Wow, thank you! That template could help a bunch. Maybe you should consider sharing it with the general IH community — I think it could help a lot more people than just me!

Here is the link to the copywriting template : https://www.saasframe.io/copywriting-templates/about-page

I'm still working on it so it's not perfect but I would love to have your feedback and know if it helped you !
My objective is to build copywriting templates for every type of SaaS marketing pages (features, pricing, customers, careers, demo...)

This is great! I like that you're leading in with the mission statement and story first.

I honestly can't think of anything you're missing off the top of my head (you've covered mission statement, story, team, social proof, and values), but if I do think of anything later, I'll let you know!

Thanks a ton for following up and sharing this resource -- really appreciate the help!

Thanks for your feedback ! I'm glad it can be useful to you 😊

Do you see value in making this kind of template for every type of SaaS marketing pages ?

            1. 1

              No problem — thank you!

And for sure, I could definitely see a template like this being useful for several pages, especially Testimonials + Pricing pages

Great! I'll let you know when more pages are available then :)

What you can do is look around the websites of other startups in the B2B space and see what is working for them. There is no point in reinventing the wheel. I usually look more at sillicon valley startups as they seem more human that big corporations that don't even have an about page. Look around and get inspiration from what other startups do and works for them.

Thanks for the feedback, Vlad! Yep that’s exactly what I’m going for 👍 Do you remember any specific about pages that stood out to you in the past?
