    Hey Marcelo!

I think developing good habits is the number one thing someone can do to increase their chance of achieving success over time. From what I understand, our habits compose the majority of what we do on a day-to-day basis, and the non-habitual actions we do are very tiny in proportion. I also think that good habits tend to be a domino effect, and the process of building a couple of strong core habits can - as a side-effect - furnish the self-discipline to make conquering others much easier.

As an individual, I think I'm very bad at developing good habits. I know several people living "ideal" lives, where every waking moment is filled doing something productive and fulfilling. On the other hand, I often find myself discouraged at the magnitude of time I end up wasting during the day, and I'm still working on building habits to compensate in the areas I feel like I'm weak.

I've tried numerous habit trackers and todo lists, but haven't managed to find one that seems to stick. The tricky part appears to be creating the habit of using the tool that helps you manage your habits :)

Thanks for your input @jordin_codes, I do agree good habits, specially the ones that make you "better" somehow, are hard to establish (permanently at least).

Specifically, what do you think is the best way to "learn" new habits? books, video, ebooks, audio, etc. thx

To be honest, I'm not really sure.

Reading books and listening to podcasts on the topic I'm trying to build habits around seem to be the most effective methods I've found for improving in the areas that are important to me, but like I said in my previous answer, I don't feel like I'm very effective at building good habits. I wish I had a better answer!
