Good resources for getting ready to launch
I'm getting ready to launch - I have a mailing list that I've compiled over the past few months. What to do next to increase chances of success?
- What emailing suite do you use? Convertkit? Mailchimp? Other?
- Where do you find inspiration of what a good launch email looks like?
- Should the launch email be the first one I send to the list, or build up with some other emails first?

I use MailChimp. it's pretty easy to use. As for launch emails, I don't know. I'm not sure I remember a launch email in my life? That might be something worthwhile to remember. Consider that most people are selfish on the internet. The email newsletter stylish or professional might just disappear into someone's brains. Personally I think humour sales. People like to laugh I would leverage that. How big is your list? as new members come on, they won't ever see the launch email.. so it may just be another fleeting message. I say launch and have a bunch of emails ready to go.

List is not massive, about 2.5k sourced from public domain (charities register) - so a lot of them might opt-out after the first cold email.
I signed up for the Close.com free trial and I love it so far - it's exactly what I needed at this point. Can have a bunch of email templates and just fire them off as and when required. Great product but a bit expensive for me at this stage, so hoping I see some strong results so I can justify the monthly expense.
