Google Analytics and bots

Hi,

Searching through indiehackers it seems every new SaaS product gets swarmed by bots. I've experienced the same since launching my product (featureflag.tech).

Can anyone tell me if this attention we're getting lasts for long?

The bots really got interested when I enabled Google Analytics (about 10 sign ups requests per day). After collecting more new users (enough to see the product being used) I disabled GA.

That was about a week ago and over the last 24 hours I've had only one new bot sign up.

The bots don't seem to come to my site via Google Analytics, they are going straight to the sign up page.

Does anyone have any thoughts/ideas about what might be happening with the bots? Do they only become interested in you when you have Google Analytics enabled?
