Woke up a few days ago to see this payment notification from stripe. The best part was when I came to realize that they purchased an annual plan upfront 🤩

This was for my product Famewall which makes it easy to collect & display social media testimonials on a wall of fame which can be embedded on landing pages in under a minute
Being a solo founder, I focused on building & marketing the product over a period of 2 months. Though I had no paying customers in the first month, it completely changed in the following month where I got 4 paying customers
That week another customer reached out to me after purchasing a paid plan & requested for a specific feature

I began working on integrating video testimonials shortly thereafter & just launched the feature yesterday
The feel of delighting a paying customer is quite unparalleled 😄 Makes it worth the startup journey though there are stressful times along the way😃
Patience is quite an underrated virtue in the startup journey. Though I felt stressed in the first month, when my product was not making money, now I have a lot of hope 😄
Congrats! Just checked out your site and the software looks great! I've been seeing a lot of testimonial walls lately so i'm sure you'll definitely be able to scale this up!
Thanks Prasad :)
Curious to know if you had a shot at creating a wall for your product on Review circle?
We're doing the same at Scraping Fish in the early product development stage. Our first customers basically guide us and decide which features we prioritize in our backlog.
That's a good approach Mateusz. Paying customers in the early stages are such genuine souls who guide us :)
Congratulations!
Thank you :)
Wow Goutham ! You know you're on the right track when customers are dying to pay ! :P
What are your thoughts about paid feature prioritisation ?
Thank you for the kind words, Suvojit :)
I think that's definitely a good way to approach. The more we prioritize paid features, the more chances we have at building a sustainable business. Since that might play an important role when a customer is on the fence to put their CC details.
Also when we deliver on the features raised by paying customers, we would attract like minded customers who're willing to pay for the product.
That's awesome. Seems like you're on to something here!
Thank you for the encouraging words, Nick :)
Can i get a payment through aafes exchange credits card?
https://24hourtime.co/military-star-card/
Hi Leo. I think the payment provider stripe does support that card. Would you be able to check if it falls through on payments page?
Let me know if you need help
Congratulations Goutham!
Really great job! 👏👏
Thank you so much Kazi :)
congratulations
Thank you :)
Congrats Goutham. SaaS excites me a lot these days. I've been working on venturing into it lately, not as a founder though. Just an email copywriter. How about if I created some sales emails for you and tweak it until it converts, and you give me a testimonial in return? You're in?
Thanks Moshood. So is it more of cold emails ?
Thanks, man. Glad you replied. It's more of sales emails to turn free trial users into paid users. But I write cold emails too if that's what you want at the moment. Are you ready to get started?
