Got an idea. What are the next steps?

Hi! What I usually do is figure out the simplest and fastest way to get it out there, meaning having a working prototype in a day or two maximum. Once that's done I try to figure out what the most important metric of this poc is to make it commercially viable (eg: cover dev costs, server costs, hosting, etc...) and then I have a target for the pricing and ask myself how many customers that would be at minimum and give it a week beta testing with some friends or people online. If at some point I don't follow through I just abandon the idea. Basically just trying to minimize the "stuff that can go wrong". If it's validated I involve layers, notaries and all the legal stuff necessary here in Germany.
I think here is a good place to discuss but it helps to already just work on the idea and start :)

Try to figure out whether it is a good business idea worth pursuing.

• is it a big enough problem?
• is there room for it to make money?
• speak to potential customers
• listen to this podcast
