After 42 days of struggling to find a client, I finally hit a significant milestone. Last month, I secured my first E-comm client on Upwork!
I'd been contemplating for almost a month on where to look for clients (LinkedIn, Medium, Reddit, you name it) until I finally decided to try Upwork. It turned out to be the best decision I've ever made!
My current client is a e-comm business owner in the apparel industry who needs a consistent stream of ad creatives weekly for his Meta ads campaign. This is my first clients based in the US, and the experience has been great so far.
I launched my subscription-based service (Digital with Alda, or DWA for short) last March, right after I decided to end my 9-5 journey for good. Although it hasn't gained much attention yet until now, I'm optimistic it'll grow significantly this year.
For now, my plan is to focus on securing more clients on freelancing platforms like Contra and Upwork and offer them my subscription plan on digitalwithalda.com.
Taking one step at a time!
