Two months ago I launched my first app on the App Store. Today I got my first paying subscriber. I know it doesn't sound like much, but it definitely feels good.
This is huge congratulations! I launched Frikt two weeks ago on iOS and Android and I have no users yet so I truly understand the significance of that first paying user. It’s not just about the money; it’s someone saying “I actually need this” without you even asking. That validation is truly powerful when you’ve been building in the dark. What made you decide to go paid so early compared to waiting for more organic traction?
Congrats on the first paying subscriber - 2 months is early, and feels huge when it lands! What positioning tweak (if any) helped you get that first one?
Congrats. Don’t stop
Congrats! That first paying user hits different - it's someone saying "yes, this is worth my money" without knowing you. That's real validation. 2 months is actually pretty quick for organic discovery on the App Store too. What's your plan for getting more eyes on it?
I actually received one too after 2 months on the Chrome Web Store. Hoping that number doesn't stagnate there :)
Excellent
All the best.. I hope you go upwards and onwards :)
Keep going! only way is up.
Congrats! 🎉
Nice work everyone need to start
How hard was it to push your product to production? I'm working with an Ai generated site but I think I need a team to carry over the finish line any advice?
I remember once a coworker told me that nobody ever pays for apps on the app store. Not a lot of people around me pay for any apps and I hope they are all wrong because I have some apps deployed on the Chrome Web Store and I really hope someone will pay for it!
Also, congrats on the first sale!
That’s huge. Congrats! 🎉
The first paying user is proof that someone out there believes in what you built. It’s not “just one,” it’s validation. On to the next 10.
