I'm building Zolyx, a tool that cleans Brazilian spreadsheets — fixes CPF/CNPJ check digits, phone DDDs, email formatting, removes duplicates. Started as a side project in July.
Tried posting about it on Reddit early on. Got flagged as looking like an ad. Fair enough.
So instead of chasing more community posts, I built 4 free single-lookup tools that use the exact same validation logic as the paid product: a CPF validator, CNPJ validator (pulls company name + status from Brazil's official business registry), phone validator (checks against Anatel's real area code list), and an email validator. All client-side, no signup, no data sent anywhere.
They're not the product — they're a door into it. Someone searching "validar cpf online" finds the tool, and some fraction of them have an actual spreadsheet to clean.
Too early to say if it moves the needle, but it's been a more honest way to get in front of people than trying to make a subtle pitch on someone else's community.
