Got tired of bookmarking random repos - built CopilotHub, need you
I've been using GitHub Copilot for months, but finding quality prompts and best practices is frustrating. They're scattered across GitHub repos, blog posts, and forums. I kept bookmarking random resources but could never find them when I needed them.
I built CopilotHub (https://copilothub.directory) - a searchable directory of 1000+ curated GitHub Copilot prompts, instructions, agents, and MCP servers. Think of it as Product Hunt meets Awesome Lists, but specifically for Copilot resources.
What I've Built:
- Browse prompts by category (code review, debugging, documentation, etc.)
- Full-text search with filters
- Community voting to surface the best content
- Open source and community-driven
- Started with content from awesome-copilot, now growing through contributions
What I Need Help With:
- Is this a real problem others face, or am I just bad at organizing bookmarks?
- Would you use this? What's missing?
- Should I focus on prompts only, or keep the broader scope (instructions, agents, MCPs)?
- Any features that would make this more valuable?
Current Status:
- 1000+ resources indexed
- Open source on GitHub
- Built with Next.js 15, server-side rendering
- Getting some organic traffic but want to validate the concept
