I am a software developer and my writing skills are not the best, coming up with good taglines and descriptions requires a certain amount of time and energy that I would rather spend in something else. Add the fact that English is my second language and you end up with a time sucking machine.
I was planning the launch of several Packs that I created for Coda (Pack = integration with a third party service) and of course decided to use GPT4 to come up with good taglines, descriptions and first comments π‘
These are the results!
Me: "Improve the following text to match the style of a Product Hunt launch in less than 260 characters: The Airtable Pack lets you sync the records of your base tables with your Coda docs.
Update, create or delete them from Coda with actions.
Trigger Airtable webhook automations from your doc.
Document your tables."
GPT4: "π Meet Airtable Pack ππ€ Seamlessly sync your base tables with Coda docs! ππ Effortlessly update, create & delete records from Coda using actions. π₯ Unleash the power of Airtable webhook automations & document your tables β all from your doc! πΌβ¨"
Me: "What do you think are some good use cases for integrating Airtable tables with Coda documents?"
GPT4: "Integrating Airtable tables with Coda documents opens up a world of possibilities for enhanced collaboration, organization, and automation. Some great use cases include:
Project Management: Keep your project timelines, task lists, and team assignments in sync between Airtable and Coda for seamless project tracking and collaboration.
Event Planning: Coordinate event logistics, guest lists, and budgets in Coda while syncing with Airtable for real-time updates and information sharing.
Content Calendar: Manage your editorial calendar in Airtable, and sync it with Coda to create related content briefs, assign writers, and track the production process.
CRM: Sync your Airtable CRM with Coda to create customer profiles, track interactions, and generate sales reports or invoices in a single, unified workspace.
Inventory Management: Maintain your product inventory in Airtable, and sync it with Coda for easy order processing, tracking, and reporting.
Employee Onboarding: Use Coda for creating interactive onboarding guides and checklists, while syncing employee data from Airtable to track their progress and store relevant documentation.
Survey Data Analysis: Collect survey responses in Airtable, and sync the data with Coda to create visualizations, derive insights, and generate custom reports.
By integrating Airtable tables with Coda documents, you can streamline workflows, centralize data, and unlock powerful automation features for a more efficient and productive work environment."
Pretty good I would say, what do you think? Already using GPT4 to improve your copy?
If you want to stop and say hi this is the link to the PH launch, I used Canva to create the images ‡οΈ

Very cool! It's crazy all the different uses ChatGPT has. I liked your prompt "match the style of" as a guideline.
I used it for something similar, to do user research and figure out value proposition, and then based on that to come up with different types of copy.
If you want to check out my process and see the prompts I useds, you can do so here: https://www.indiehackers.com/post/how-i-use-chatgpt-for-starting-a-new-business-b0e81c7a9e
Good luck!
Definitely checking it out, thanks for sharing!
