Great exercise to build better products

Write a story of how your customers currently experience the problem you are solving.

For example if you are building an app to help marketers with making better campaigns, how does their day look like before using your app?

How do they start their day? at what point in their day do they face the problem you are solving? how do they currently solve it?

And then write another version, with your app user experience baked in their day.

For example maybe they always start their day checking their emails, your app will now send them a daily email with information they need to know.

This helps you understand your customers better and how your app fits in their day, which will help building a better product and marketing it better too.

Interestingly there is plenty of content online on "a day in the life of ..." which gives you good insights on how their day looks like.
