Greetings from a solo founder

👋 Howdy y'all! I'm Dave Kiss, a self-taught full-stack webmaster + solopreneur building video collection software from the sunny shores of Cleveland, OH. I've been floating around on IH for a few years now, but with the upcoming launch of my latest business, I thought I should check in here as I build this thing from the ground up.

I've been building and selling software products online (mostly WordPress plugins) since 2012 – my main product is Vimeography (https://vimeography.com), a WordPress plugin which helps display Vimeo videos on WordPress websites. It's actively used on over 10,000 video course, portfolio, and membership sites, and has been good to me over the years, but I've got my eyes set on a bigger goal.

Over the years, I've learned a lot about what works and what doesn't for video collections and am taking all of that knowledge with me to a new video hosting SaaS called Andoto (https://andoto.com/blog/meet-andoto)

I've experienced quite a bit of the IH lifestyle since pushing out on my own in 2012, including many failures, an acquisition, nomadism, hiring, going LLC/S-Corp etc. so if there's anything I can answer for you please don't hesitate to reach out.
