Group for science-based products

I want to start a group for users interested in building science-based products. This could be anything ranging from productivity tools for laboratories, to job boards for scientists, to tools for scientific communication.

Reasons to join:

1. There is so much room to build indie hacker type products for various niches in the biotech/pharma/applied science market.

2. Customers are willing to pay A LOT for products. These fields are flush with cash right now and departments want to spend their budgets.

3. Its legitimately good for the world. I’m a science optimist and see advances in science as one of humanities highest calling.

I’m a scientist working in biotech, but it’s definitely not necessary to work in the field to join the group. In fact, having people with strong engineering, marketing or finance backgrounds would be extremely useful.
