Group of SaaS builders looking for additional members and projects

Finding co-founders online is hard and its a big decision! You are including someone that you don't know very well into something that you have invested so much time, love and money into! If you do find someone that you are exited about things like equity split rarely match input. Then feelings of being un-fairly treated creep in and it turns from something that you were exited about into a chore.

I have gone through this cycle a couple of times and wanted to share my solutions:

Co-founder contracts:
I found co-founder contracts that make expectation setting easier because its clear what the partnership is supposed to look like and makes it so early on in the process you can identify whether working together with certain people makes sense (Example: https://www.startups.com/library/expert-advice/startup-founders-agreement).

Value-based Equity:
Further, I found a slicing pie model that encourages fairer equity distributions. The general concept is one of giving equity to contributors, whether it's money or time. This made everything feel fairer in my experience. What was a little bit rough was always try to keep accurate track of contributions to the projects but it made it easier (https://slicingpie.com/)

Using these principles in my experience also encourages work to get done and everyone to feel better about the work. This got me to thinking is it possible to scale a system where people build indie projects.

This is what I invite you to, I have created a network of people who develop projects together and we got our first users on our first project last week. Most people put > 2 hours per day in but we contacted 600 people on LinkedIn together and built the MVP. We built a content recycler that allows people to post their old blog links and recycle them into new content (Please roast our landing page <3 https://content-recycler.carrd.co/). This took us around 70 hours and we are currently spending 5 - 6 hours per week on it.

We are currently 6 people (marketers, designers, devs) and we are looking to add new projects and people!
