I wanted to share the tactics that helped me boost my inbound calls with potential customers to 15+ per week. If you're looking to validate your product idea and grow your outreach, here's what worked for me:
📌 Spend More Time on Outreach
Switch your time allocation to prioritize outreach. Try a 80% outreach / 20% product development split. Make a weekly list of outreach channels and strategies, including cold emails, Reddit posts, Twitter outreach, Founder Slack groups, Facebook groups, and LinkedIn messages. Track your results and focus on the most effective strategies.
📌 Craft Your Messaging Carefully
Create short, personalized messages that grab attention and prompt responses. Keep the focus on the person you're reaching out to and how you can help them. Make your ask simple, leverage existing networks, and ask for advice to appear approachable. The key is sparking curiosity to get them on a call!
‼️ Find and Double Down on Scalable Channels ‼️
Identify the channels that work best and invest more time and resources in them. For example, if Reddit posts and Slack groups are successful, keep engaging in those communities and test new channels simultaneously. Test, focus on what converts best, and consider outsourcing outreach on successful channels to a VA.
📌 Ask For Introductions and Referrals
Expand your outreach network quickly by asking for introductions and referrals after each call. People are usually happy to connect you with others relevant to your startup. This snowball effect will rapidly grow your outreach list and increase conversions.
Give these strategies a shot! Have you tried any of these tactics, or do you have more to add?
