Grow users for a paid adverts platform

During this lockdown period, I've worked hard on a side project that will be finally available soon. It's not a revolution, but is something I think will be useful for the peoples.

I need to give to it a name and on this point some tips from community will be appreciated.

The platform I've developed will give to the users the ability to run a blog without the annoing aspect of setup a website and manage/mantain it. The desktop app, after the login will offer a nice dashboard to publish contents.

All the published posts will be displayed into a dedicated chrome extension.
I'm not sure if this can be a good way but I like the idea to have a feed of articles or news when I open a new chrome tab. I liked the idea to have articles that can be written from everyone and that can be used as an insertion.

I need some tips about the growth. Since the content will be part of a chrome extension, how many important are the social network to promote the extension installation?
Since I have an electron app for desktop to distribute as a client side app, will be a github page a good landing page for the project or I need a dedicated domain/website? I don't know marketplaces where the dasktop app can be distributed.

I will apprecite every tip about how to growing user base and revenue.
