🚀 Grow Your Business on Autopilot

I used to spend way too much time looking for tools.

One tool for email outreach.
Another for LinkedIn.
Another for Meta ads.
Another for landing pages.
Another for content.
Another for competitor research.
Another for SEO.
Another for AI search.

Before long, I was paying 10 different vendors, managing a pile of dashboards, and spending more time stitching tools together than actually growing the business.

That felt backwards.

The more I thought about it, the more I felt like what founders actually need isn't another AI tool.

They need an AI co-founder.

That's why we built Leapd.

Instead of telling you, “Here's another tool that can write your emails,” Leapd is designed around what you want to accomplish.

Want customers? Leapd can find and qualify prospects across the web and LinkedIn, research their company and recent activity, write personalized outreach, send it, and keep following up automatically.

Want to grow your reach? It can find trending topics, create and repurpose content, engage with relevant conversations on LinkedIn, create image and video ads, and run campaigns.

Want more visibility? It can research competitors, audit your website, improve your positioning and content, and track how your business appears across ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Google AI.

The lesson I've learned building this is pretty simple:

Founders shouldn't have to become the project manager for a collection of AI tools.

You should be able to tell your AI co-founder where you want to go and have it figure out the work.

You set the direction.
Leapd does the work.

Try it free at leapd.ai — would genuinely love feedback from Indie Hackers.

Looks promising. Would definitely try for our website!

The "project manager for a collection of AI tools" line resonates. I ran six tools last year and spent more time reconciling Zapier runs than writing copy.

The AI search visibility piece (ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity) is the part most tools ignore. Curious how you handle that without adding another dashboard.

When Leapd follows up automatically on outreach, do you have manual approval before sends, or does it learn from edits?

Seems like a very smart move in this day and age where people are trying to cut down the amount of different tools and managing all of them will burn you out real quick!
Keen to see how this pans out.

The useful test for an AI co-founder is whether it reduces coordination without hiding decisions. I’d want an activity log, clear approval gates for outbound messages and ads, and a simple way to review lead quality and unsubscribe rates. That keeps the founder focused on strategy while preserving trust and learning.

This is a great perspective on how AI can simplify business growth. The idea of moving from managing multiple disconnected tools to having one AI co-founder focused on outcomes is especially compelling. Instead of adding more complexity, solutions like Leapd aim to give founders more time to focus on strategy, customers, and growth.

Sounds like a good idea for acquiring leads and users.

    Love this idea.

Amazing!!! I really needed something like this. I really needed an AI co-founder.

The tool pile is real, but I'd be careful about hiding the work behind a single dashboard. Building DictaFlow has taught me that a growth task only helps when I can see where it came from, who it reached, and what happened afterward. I'd make every automation answer three simple questions: what did it do, why did it choose that action, and did it lead to a real conversation or signup? Otherwise, ten subscriptions just become one very polished black box.

  10. 2

Can you tell how much time i will save by using this tool

  11. 2

Yes thats pain is real , leapad solved it nicely appreciating the effort :)

  12. 2

looks like a great tool. well done!

  13. 2

Man, felt this so hard. I was in the exact same tool-hell - 10 tabs open, 10 bills to pay, 0 time to actually grow.

Realized founders don't need another AI tool, they need an AI co-founder to just get stuff done. That's what I'm building with Leapd now - one place that finds prospects, writes outreach, runs content/ads, tracks AI search visibility, etc.

Your point about becoming a project manager for your tools is spot on. How did you end up solving it?

  14. 2

most businesses pay $1400/mo for these stack of tools and if leapd works, it will be a valuable tool for us - how you measure the performance of your ai co-founder?

  15. 1

The piece I would pressure test before anything else is the LinkedIn automation, because auto-sending and auto-engaging violates their user agreement and the enforcement lands on your customer's account, not yours. Taplio's own company page got restricted over exactly this, and "we got your prospect's profile banned" is the one support ticket an all-in-one product does not recover from. I run a social platform and we turned compliance into the positioning wedge instead of a feature we quietly hoped nobody audited.

    1. 1

Totally fair concern, and compliance is something we’ve taken seriously from the start.

Leapd is an official LinkedIn partner for the API capabilities we use. Cassy uses LinkedIn’s supported APIs for the LinkedIn functionality, while the underlying outreach infrastructure is provided through a secure SOC 2-compliant service. We’re not using browser automation or trying to work around LinkedIn’s protections.

We’ve also written up the differences with Taplio here: https://www.leapd.ai/compare/cassy-vs-taplio

And here’s a deeper look at how Cassy works: https://www.leapd.ai/products/linkedin-ai-coworker

The “AI co-founder” idea makes sense, but I think the biggest challenge will be keeping the output focused. I’d start with one clear goal, like getting 10 qualified leads, and let Leapd handle the full process from research to follow-up. Then show the user what happened at each step, not just the final result. I work in design, and I’ve seen how quickly users get confused when too many actions happen at once. A simple activity log and clear approval points could make this feel much easier to trust.

    1. 1

good perspective, leapd co-founder adds an activity log in the chat as it takes action, so all actions are transparent.

      1. 1

That’s good to hear. I think showing the actions in real time makes a big difference, especially for outreach and ads where users need to know exactly what the AI is doing. It also makes it easier to spot and correct something before it goes too far.

That sounds great but I feel like it takes more than just an autopilot program to run a business. The example I guess I can use is the home health software I use, Alora. What makes their business so amazing is that they have people-ran support, and people-driven developments. So, if this were AI-driven and automated, especially with their customer support, I feel they'd lose a lot of customers.

The tool pile is real. I fell into the same trap — one more dashboard that promised distribution.
What I learned shipping a small product is slightly different from “founders need an AI co-founder.”
Social posts are easy to generate and easy to ignore. The work that actually moved anything for me was slower and more human:

A useful article someone could finish
A directory listing with a real review
A reply to one founder who had the same problem
Email to a person who already felt the pain, not a spray of personalized first lines

Cold calling and direct email still matter because they force a sentence a stranger will answer. An agent that can “find prospects, write outreach, follow up, post, and run ads” is still doing busywork unless someone on the other side has a reason to care this week.

    1. 1

I agree with a lot of this. Distribution without something people actually care about is just activity, not growth.

The distinction with Leapd is that we’re not trying to replace the human judgment around what to build, who to target, or why they should care. Jack coordinates the execution across the different channels, while the individual agents go much deeper than simply generating posts or personalized first lines.

And I agree that the slower, higher-intent work matters — useful content, real conversations, qualified outreach, etc. That's actually why Leapd combines things like AI visibility/content, lead research, LinkedIn outreach, email, ads, and the actual product/website. The goal is to continuously test where genuine demand is showing up, not just keep every channel busy.

The best outcome isn't “AI did 10,000 marketing actions.” It's finding the handful of things that actually produce customers and then letting AI do more of those.

  20. 1

Congrats! Can you elaborate on the logic/system that pre-qualifies leads?
Does this only work to hypothesize demand for something common and well-defined that people of a certain company or position need or is there any signal-mining (If they have job posts live about a specific role, recently raised, posted about a launch, a current challenge, or have recurring complaints publicly visibly on review/discussion sites)

    1. 1

Yes — Leapd does both. Cassy and Milo qualify leads using standard firmographic signals like title, company, location, and role, while also mining public intent signals — someone complaining about a competitor, discussing a pain point, changing jobs, launching something new, hiring for a relevant role, raising funding, or showing other recent activity that suggests they may be a good fit.

  21. 1

we run mcppro dev to help with server discovery, I think leapd should add mcp server to expand the reach

  22. 1

this is cool but I see some other companies try to do ai co-founder, how leapd's version is different?

    1. 1

Fair question — most of them are advisors. You chat with them, they give you a plan, a deck, a PRD — and you’re still the one who has to execute it.

Leapd does the work. Describe your business in a sentence and it builds it — the product, landing page, and more — then keeps going: publishing content, running ads, finding and reaching out to prospects, and reporting back.

On a schedule, whether you’re logged in or not.

The easiest test for any AI co-founder: does it keep working after you close the laptop?

Ours does. Leapd runs its own content, outreach, LinkedIn, and ads.

      1. 1

we recently published an article, you may find it insightful

does leapd support linkeidn automation? is it safe?

    1. 1

Yes — Cassy supports LinkedIn automation for prospecting, outreach, follow-ups, engagement, and posting. We use official APIs and avoid scraping, and we’ve designed it to minimize platform risk as much as possible.

  24. 1

    how much can I save?

    1. 1

Leapd agents only cost $39/mo, so it is very affordable to start and then you can pay more as you scale.
