When you're working on a B2C company like I am, especially a digital one, it's vitally important to have a strong community of product evangelists. Obviously, you need to have a product that people love in order for that to happen, but you also need a place for your fans to congregate and talk about the product and industry.
Qvault is a coding education platform. There are obviously tons of communities online where entry-level developers are looking to improve their skills and get help on the job search. The key is giving them an amazing community that's associated with Qvault.
One trick I used these last few weeks was to "advertise" the Discord server on Reddit as a place where you can get a free no-strings-attached resume review. We had around 100 sign-ups that day, and the best part is the community started helping with the reviews! I didn't even have to do them all myself.
Take the poll and comment below with how you're building a community around your product, or the struggles you're having.
If you're interested in the Discord server I've been referring to, you can hop in here.
what about
other?! 😜Maybe this speaks more to my age/location, but Facebook groups have actually been awesome for engaging with a like-minded community
