Growing my newsletter to 3k subs and monitisation

I've been working on the Creator Club newsletter for the last 12 months - so far I have about 3k subs and growing with a pretty reasonable click-through (~34%) and open (~47%). Just last month I got my first sponsor. A crypto trading platform and wallet - I asked them to pay me in Ether which hasn't exactly worked out very well to date given the recent crash 😅

Recently, I toyed with the idea to make it more frequent as it's published once a month whilst not increasing the amount of time it takes to create. So last week I launched a new segment to the newsletter called "Creator Cameo" where I invite the online makers and creators I admire to take over the newsletter and share their top 3 articles, links/resources and new digital products. So far I have 8 amazing folks writing up their takeovers!

I'm curious how others have grown their newsletters? when did you monetize it?
