Growth hacking of startup but....

I recently joined a startup that is a marketing data platform as can be seen in my BIO. It caters B2B and B2C both. We want to start with raising a capital first, for which we have planned on launching the Lifetime Deal then later we have enough balance to focus on the MRR. I am starting with the partners onboarding to get as much as exposure possible for our lifetime.
Is this the right way?

I'm not entirely sure what you mean with starting with the partners onboarding. But showing there is interest in your product such as a large list of emails that have signed up for an early release will help show potential investors that your idea may be worth investing in.

A good resource to learn about VCs and what they look for is this course by Henning Piezunka from INSEAD: https://www.insead.edu/conversations/insead-workshop-venture-capital-business-angels-and-startups

Oh! by Partners onboarding, I meant affiliates to kick start the cycle.
BTW, thanks for the response. Appreciated!
