Growth starter-pack for startups

Hi Indie Hackers!

I am a Growth Manager and I noticed one thing about startups that I've worked with.

They start working with a growth hacking agency at a very early stage and have no idea about marketing. This means they end up paying way too much for an agency that sets up very basic things for them.

These things can be done easily by themselves or by an intern only if they had the right simple and practical instructions.

I really want to help startups get started in marketing/growth hacking without spending crazy amounts by creating a starter pack including things like:

  • Checklist of things to check before you even start marketing your product
  • Doing basic target audience research
  • Choosing the right channels to promote your product
  • A recommendation list of cheap, simple tools tested by me personally
  • Basic email marketing setup
  • Basic Facebook Ads setup
  • Basic LinkedIn Ads setup
  • Basic Google Ads setup

All in a user friendly, pragmatic, and practical package.

Do you think this would be helpful? Would you be willing to pay $20 for it? Do you have any suggestions on what you'd find useful to include in such a pack?

Thank you!

I think this would be of value to our users on Linkdra (https://linkdra.com). Most of the users are early stage or solo owners who may not see value in paid ads etc. A Sign up Add-on option can be a good value if that aligns with your interest.

Your product looks interesting. I just signed up :) But I'm not sure what you mean by "A Sign up Add-on option". Would you like to elaborate?

Thank you. Feels good when an expert comments.

By Add-on, I meant and option for subscribers to buy your $20 offering to get the best out of platform. Strategy + Toolbox = results

Ahh, right! Ok, this sounds really promising! Good match indeed. I've started working on the outline now. I'll let you know when it's ready, we can talk more details then.

      Thanks @jrbayguade!

This is what's lacking on the market, bullshit-free and pragmatic content.
Good luck with your ebook if you decide to publish it! And you can reach out if you need some help.
      Happy Monday!

Sounds good :) Only I'd like to do some more research first to validate my idea before I jump into a lot of work for nothing.

Indeed, you need to sell a lot of them. That's why the idea behind it needs to be top-notch and it has to solve the real pain of the target group. And that's why I need to research first. Let's stay connected @jrbayguade . LinkedIn perhaps?
