Growth Tactics Repo
I’ve started creating a growth knowledge base condensing the daily growth tactics I either read online, have myself or with others tested.
Would you want more of these condensed tactics? Should I change the format at all? And would you be interested in a growth slack community to share and get advice?
Here is my short experience on the site from a couple of visits (early stage founder and engineer here). I really liked the idea when I read about it in your last post. My thoughts were:
The reason I left is that it promises content for free with the UI then asks for money, before I am at all convinced you're going to deliver any real value. I wouldn't pay for tiny growth hacks every day unfortunately, nor for access to the community. I would pay for a course from a notable person, or a book, after I'd followed that person for a while.
You are competing with a lot of people putting out great content on growth for free, so I think personally you need to build a brand and a following (both personal and for the website) before charging for anything. This could take months if not years, but could be really rewarding if you enjoy posting this stuff anyway. Perhaps make it more like marketing examples at first (free to use), then figure out what to charge for later when you have built community. It's really hard to build community and requires consistent commitment over a long period of time IME and probably to launch as free at first at least.
I wouldn't be interested in slack (though others might be) because it requires real-time commitment and if I'm looking for advice I'd prefer to consume it async, on my timeline, but would be interested in a free community (a forum like discourse) discussing growth.

It would be really useful to have all the information I needed right there on the page. Perhaps with visuals and clear examples. It may also be useful to have a clear template for you to use for the content pages, to provide some consistency in layout and expectations.
