GSuite + Route 53

I was planning to use route53 to get my domain started. I am very comfortable with GSuite (because this is what we use at work and I have used it for many years). I was wondering if other indie devs in this group considered this as an option to manage email, chat etc.
If not, what is the cheapest option that others are considering?
