In @csallen's recent IH postcast with @sahil, Courtland mentioned how great the first version (2011) of the Gumroad landing page was. Below is a screenshot from the wayback machine.
Very concise. Does one thing only, and does it well. What a thing of beauty!
Obviously the copy is very, very good.
But what I'm more surprised by looking at this now is how well the design of the site holds up today.
I say that as someone who was building sites back in '11. Most sites from that time period would not have held up anywhere near as well 😂
